Thursday, November 20, 2014 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Oliver LaGrone (W132) This screening features the stories recorded during a semester-long, volunteer process that trains participants in using an iPod touch or smartphone to record short real-life stories from the people we walk by in the halls everyday. The technical skills involved in this program are low - no story is edited and fine filmmaking is not the goal. Co-Directors Present on World Wide Narratives at Harrisburg in Tampere, Finland
We Listen program co-directors Shivaani Selvaraj and Heather Hughes will present their paper "World Wide Narratives: Amplifying Story-Listening with Mobile Devices" at the AACE EdMedia 2014 World Conference in Tampere, Finland between June 23rd and 26th.
